1.Alpine skiing
With the ever changing sport of Alpine skiing our instructors can always give you a new look. Whether it is carving, bumps, powder or trees, our staff is certified to improve your skiing ability. Our instructors know the inside and outs of Steamboat mountain and will show you the best suitable terrain for your skill level. We will be offering private and group lessons in this field, with an opportunity for a week long course during the high seasons.
2. Snowboarding
Our highly motivated snowboard instructors are here and are ready to teach you all the new techniques. Our instructors come from all over the world to use Steamboat Resort as their home. Let us improve your on mountain experience and educate you through many learning tactics. We can change the way you ride and in a fun and laid back manner. We will be offering group and private lessons in this discipline all season long, with an opportunity for a week long course during the high seasons.
3. Telemarking- Discover the sport of Tele-Marking
Try something new or brush up on your skills. These knowledgeable Steamboat Ski Instructors will educate you in all angles of this new and up-coming sport. Take a day to see what this sport has to offer. Maybe this change will give you the new challenge you are looking for. Our demo's will give you the opportunity to try different brands to get the feel you feel comfortable with. We will be offering group and private lessons in this discipline.
4. Freestyle- It is time to get some air.
Once again our Steamboat Ski Instructors have all the experience needed to safely teach our clients the skills and rules of the art of freestyle. We offer a class called Park and Pipe. This class offers a unique look to the half-pipe, rails and jumps. We educate through many techniques and keep safety as our number one concern. Come along with us and enter into a new phase of this Olympic Sport. This course is offered as a private lesson only.
5. Children- Steamboat has been ranked Number One Children Ski Resort for years.
Our children programs are extensive, ranging from daycare, private lessons and groups lessons. Our facilities are maintained beautifully to fulfill any childs skiing fantasy.
